As one of the major sources of white pollution in cities, plastic packaging wastes becomes a serious threat to the environment. Building a comprehensive recycling system and operational model is important to solve such problem. Starting from an overview of reverse logistics, this paper discusses in depth the principles of building a reverse logistics network for urban plastic packaging wastes as well as the operational process, taking the thirdparty recycling model as an example, aims to improve the recycling efficiency of urban plastic packaging wastes.
