On Ouyang Xiu’s Life Philosophy from A Drunkard to A Recluse

本文从欧阳修的人生历程、文学创作历程来观照他的生命哲学。夷陵和滁州时期的欧阳修,盛年而号“醉翁”,是“清醒的醉翁”,虽处山水亭林间,仍“心忧其君”,“醉翁之乐”是与民同乐。“六一居士”时期的欧阳修,已届晚年,回归本真回归自我,“六一居士之乐”是人生在世的有所寄托,有所归宿。

This paper attempts to deduce Ouyang Xiu’s life philosophy from his life and his extant works.During his prime years in Yiling and Chuzhou,he called himself"an old toper",a"sober drunkard".Such a pastoral life had not drained his ambition,and he had constantly worried about his king.In this stage,the"drunkard’s joy"was to enjoy with his people.In later years his interest shifted,and he started to call himself"Liu Yi Jushi"and concerned more about inner self.The"Jushi’s joy"is to find true value of his soul.
