在文史之学上有深厚造诣的纪昀嗜砚成癖,其题写的砚铭坚守了“铭之谓体”的传统,体现了崇尚“正名审用、体贵弘润”的美学追求。因其亲淫乾嘉时代之风,所以在其砚铭注入了“乾嘉之色”,即在题铭中重视学术考订,这是乾嘉文人的一种雅趣。另外在砚铭的创作上,纪氏也在存在着重“自然”审美、重“经世致用”相融合的“折中”的文艺思想倾向。

Ji Yun who has profound attainments in the study of literature and history,is addicted to ink-stones.His epigraphy of inkstone stick to the traditional style of epigraphy,which reflects the aesthetic pursuit of“correct definition,correct use,and excellent body”.Because it was created during the reign of Qianlong.There is no doubt that it carries the distinctive characteristics of the time.That is to pay attention to textual criticism,which is a refined taste for scholar of Qing dynasty.In addition,in the creation of inkstone inscriptions,Ji also has a tendency of combing natural aesthetics with practical application.
