Author:When I first heard that statement about future production,I asked myself"Where will production come from?".Additionally,the western world seeks to establish supply chains which are less reliant on China.I have worked in the rare earth field for much of my life and understand the difficulty of developing rare earth extraction and separation projects.The news that rare earth production must double in the next 10 years seemed incredible and promoted the investigation that led to this article.
