文化依恋对外群体信任的影响

The Impact of Cultural Attachment on the Face Trustworthiness of Out-groups

通过一个预实验和两个正式实验依次考察中国民众对中华文化的依恋状态以及拓展其对群际关系的影响。结果显示:中华文化可为中国民众提供安全感;且相对于积极情绪符号,当启动中华文化符号时,人们对外群体高可信面孔的评分较高,而对外群体低可信面孔的评分无显著变化。以上结果拓展了文化依恋的适用范围和功能,即除了多元平行文化经历者,“多元一体”文化背景下的个体也会对本国文化产生依恋情感。此依恋状态能促进人们与外群体的友好关系,表现为强化人们对外群体高可信知觉和缓解其对外群体的负性知觉。

Two experiments following one pre-experiment were implemented to investigate the attachment status of Chinese citizens to Chinese national culture and the impact of cultural attachment on promotion of the intergroup relations. The results showed that Chinese national culture endowed Chinese people with sense of security;and people scored higher on the high trustworthy faces of the out-groups when the Chinese cultural attachment state was activated under the positive emotion( like golden box) priming state, however, it had no effect on the low trustworthy faces of the out-groups. The results expanded the applicable boundaries and functions of cultural attachment, that was, in addition to individuals with multi-culture experiences, individuals in the context of pluralistic integration culture could also activate the cultural attachment state to their own culture. The attachment status would promote the friendly relation between the people and out-groups, hence to enhance the trustworthiness to out-groups and alleviate the negative perception to them.
