In order to improve the safety management of intravenous infusion,the nursing de⁃partment of Beijing Cancer Hospital and the ICU jointly established the Venous Access Center,built a specialist intravenous treatment team,integrated medical and nursing resources,and had different job divisions.According to the role,each fulfilled its duties,formed a characteristic management model,and played Advantages of the medical team,reduce the risk of intravenous therapy,and meet the needs of inpatient and outpatient patients and medical institutions for safe,effective and high-quality intravenous infusion therapy.
