湖北沙洋新宏墓地M1发掘简报

Brief Report of Excavation of Tomb M1 at Xinhong Cemetery in Shayang County, Hubei Province

新宏墓地位于湖北省沙洋县后港镇新宏村。2016年12月,为配合蒙华铁路建设,荆门市博物馆等单位对墓地位于铁路取土场内的M1进行了抢救性发掘。M1为“甲”字形竖穴土坑墓,整体保存较好,未遭盗扰,出土陶、铜、玉石器等随葬品30余件。根据墓葬形制和出土器物判断该墓为战国中期楚墓,墓主身份应属楚国“士”级别贵族。

The Xinhong cemetery is located in the Xinhong Village of Hougang Township,Shayang County,Hubei Province.In December 2016,a joint team led by Sichuan University's National Demonstration Center for Experimental Education and the Jingmen Museum carried out an excavation at tomb M1 so as to cooperate with the construction of the Menghua Railway.M1 is well-preserved and undisturbed,with a甲-shaped layout in plan view,and it contains more than 30 grave goods made of pottery,bronze,and jade.The burial style and artifactual characteristics suggest that the tomb date to the middle Warring States period and the tomb owner is a noble(probably in the scholar-gentry class)of the Chu State.
