摘要
针对个体对网络新媒体环境中因难以确定信息真假而采取的事实核查行为,研究了社会存在、警惕性及信息卷入度这三个因素对个体事实核查频率的影响。采用三因子混合设计实验研究,被试在不同的警惕性条件与社会存在条件下完成事实核查任务,测量指标包括对所给陈述的判断与自信水平。结果表明,社会存在降低了个体核查事实的可能性,瞬时警惕性的提升则削弱了社会存在的影响。此外,个体对高卷入度信息的事实核查比对低卷入度信息少。研究结果拓展了新媒体环境中的信息事实核查理论,可为信息的推送设计方式提供借鉴。
Aiming at the fact-checking behavior of ambiguous information in the new media environment, this paper studies the effect of social presence, vigilance and information involvement on the frequency of fact checking. A three-factor mixed designed experiment was used. The participants completed the fact-check task under different vigilance and social presence conditions, while the study measured the judgment of the given statements and the confidence level of the participants. The results show that social presence reduces the possibility of individual fact-checking, and the inducement of momentary vigilance weakens the impact of social presence. Individuals have less fact-checking possibility on information with high involvement than those with low involvement. The research results expand the information fact checking theory in the new media environment andprovide reference for the design of information push.
