The function,operation requirements and dominant failure modes of the quenching ring in entrained-flow gasifier were described and summarized.The quenching ring structure was analyzed,and the structure design concept and parameter determination principles of the quenching ring were put forward.Based on the operating conditions and design requirements of the quenching ring,the proposal was made for the technical requirements during the material selection,processing and assembly of the quenching ring,which could provide a practical reference for its engineering application.
