Design of Air Tightness Test Equipment for Automobile Engine EGR Cooler

摘要 气密性检测是EGR冷却器质量保证的关键工序,设计研发EGR冷却器气密性高效、自动化检测设备尤为重要。分析了常用气密性检测方法的特点,提出一种联合应用压降法与皂泡法的EGR冷却器气密性检测方法,并应用此方法设计开发了适用于EGR冷却器的平台化气密性检测设备。该设备采用PLC控制,集成气密性检测智能仪器、可互换的检测夹具、机械手、打标机,实现检测、打标及零件下料的自动化作业及不合格件的漏点查找。经试验验证,设备达到设计要求且测量系统检测能力足够,已用于批量生产。 Air tightness test is a key process for the quality assurance of EGR coolers.It is particularly important to design and develop efficient and automated air tightness test equipment for EGR coolers.In this work,the characteristics of conventional air tightness test methods are analyzed,and the combination of the pressure drop method and the soap bubble method is proposed to detect the leakage of EGR coolers.The proposed method is applied to the design and development of a platform air tightness test equipment for EGR coolers.The equipment is controlled by PLC and integrated by air tightness test intelligent instruments,interchangeable test fixtures,manipulators,and marking machines to realize automatic testing,marking,part unloading and leak point detection of unqualified parts respectively.The verification results show that the equipment meets the design requirements.And the measuring system can provide sufficient testing capacity.The developed equipment has been used for mass production.
