Reconstruction of Chinese materia medica——common selfheal fruit-spike

通过古籍文献调研、中药现代研究进展及其研究成果的梳理,结合中医临床及中药学等学科领域内的专家学者的认识及应用经验,经讨论认为夏枯草:功效主要为清肝泻火,明目,散结消肿;症靶为甲状腺肿大、乳腺肿块、目赤肿痛;标靶为甲状腺功能、高血压;现代药理发现夏枯草及其有效成分具有抗炎、抗肿瘤、调节免疫、降血糖、降血压、抗病毒的功能;本品无毒,脾胃寒弱者慎用;临床使用剂量为9~60 g。内服时当根据不同疾病,或同一疾病的不同阶段进行辨证使用,并积极探索夏枯草用量与症靶、标靶的量效关系构建。

Based on the investigation of ancient books and literature,the progress and achievements of modern research on traditional Chinese medicine,and the understanding and application experience of experts and scholars in the field of clinical medicine and traditional Chinese pharmacology,it is believed that common selfheal fruit-spike has the following characteristics:Its effects are mainly to clear the liver-fire,improve eyesight,resolve hard masses for detumescence.Its symptom targets are goiter,breast lumps,red eyes,swellings and pains.Its index targets are the thyroid function and hypertension.Modern pharmacology has found that common selfheal fruit-spike and its effective components have the actions of anti-inflammation,anti-tumor,immune regulation,hypoglycemia,blood pressure reduction and anti-virus.With non-toxic effects,it should be used with caution by those with cold deficient spleen and stomach.Its clinical dosage range is 9-60g.When taken internally,it should be used according to different diseases or different stages of the same disease.Efforts should be taken to actively explore the construction of the dose-effect relationship between the dosage of common selfheal fruit-spike and its symptom targets or test index targets.
