In recent years,with the increasing development of society,people have a higher pursuit of marriage freedom.Marriage Freedom not only puts forward high requirements for freedom of marriage,but also generally improves the freedom of divorce.Under the background of the new era,the divorce rate has been increasing year by year.In practice,the understanding and application of the cooling-off period of divorce is an important research project.This paper puts forward some targeted suggestions by analyzing the background,advantages and disadvantages and correct methods of setting the cooling-off period of divorce.
