《葡汉辞典》宗教哲学新词研究

A Study on the Neologisms of Religious Philosophy in the Portuguese-Chinese Dictionary

著于明朝末期的《葡汉辞典》是第一部中文与西方语言对照的辞典,展现了中西方语言最早、最直接的相互解读,是中西文化接触进程最直观、最集中的体现之一。本文试从文化交流史和接触语言学角度,对辞典最具代表性的宗教哲学新词进行初步研究,结合具体词汇,从词汇学角度对辞典宗教哲学词汇所采取的主要译介形式及特点进行分析,考察该辞典在中西方文化交流史和中国语言发展史中的重要作用和价值。

The Portuguese Chinese Dictionary,written at the end of the Ming Dynasty,is the first dictionary that compared Chinese with Western languages.It was a most direct and concentrated expression of the contact between Chinese and Western cultures.This paper makes a preliminary study of the most representative religiously philosophical neologisms in the dictionary from the perspective of the history of cultural exchange and lexicology.It also analyzes the main strategies of translation used and the characteristics of the dictionary’s religious-philosophical vocabulary from a lexicographical point of view.Finally,it reveals the important role and great value of the dictionary in the history of cultural exchanges between China and the West,as well as in the history of Chinese-language development.
