An irrigation canal aqueduct project is one of the main works of the Z construction section of the main trunk canal of the first phase of the Middle Route of the South to North Water Transfer Project. On the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the general situation of this irrigation canal aqueduct project, the technical points and construction process characteristics of the canal crossing aqueduct construction are deeply analyzed and studied mainly from six aspects, including the construction of cast-in-place piles, the concrete construction of the aqueduct body, the installation of prestressed pipes, the installation of steel strands, the tensioning construction, and the grouting construction. The practical experience of the aqueduct construction is summarized, and the application rules of the construction technology of the aqueduct project are explored. The construction technology and practice results of this aqueduct project can provide scientific reference for similar projects.
