拉斐尔的观看方式:圣凯瑟琳的“面容之光”

摘要 在文艺复兴时期,圣凯瑟琳的艺术形象有一般范式,但拉斐尔并未按照惯例来设计这一形象。在作品《亚历山大的圣凯瑟琳》中,拉斐尔使用了一种区别于传统“沉思凝视”的观看方式——仰首远眺,这或许是他对“光照”的新柏拉图式阐释。文章通过色彩、构图、面容和光线四个要素分析了圣凯瑟林的肖像和光照,认为作品中的圣凯瑟琳形象通过仰首远眺完成了圣光沐浴和灵魂沉思的连接,而拉斐尔的“看”正是基于上述思想的表达方式。 In the Renaissance, Saint Catherine’s artistic image had a general paradigm, but Raphael did not design this image according to the convention.In his work Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Raphael used a viewing method different from the traditional "contemplation", which is looking up and looking into the distance. That could be his new Platonic interpretation of "light". The article analyzes the portrait and illumination of Saint Catherine through four factors of color,composition, face, and light, and believes that the image of Saint Catherine in the work completes the connection of accepting the light bath and soul meditation by looking up from afar, and Raphael’s "look" is based on the expression of the above ideas.
