This paper addresses the major facts on affecting the appearance quality of VPI stator bar of hydro generator.Through analyzing causes,standardizing measures and improving processes,it has resolved certain difficulties with manufacturing process for stator bar of hydro generator.Additionally,the finish quality of VPI stator bar becomes enhanced.Furtherly,it has boosted the capability of stator bar production process and improved the quality of generator unit.
