Professor ZHAN Qiang holds that the origin of Tourette’s syndrome in children locates in liver,involving lung,spleen,heart and kidney.The core pathogenesis is the imbalance of the five organs and the disturbance of the wind.The disturbance of the wind is the outward reflections,and the imbalance of the five organs is the important internal cause of the disease.The imbalance of the five organs includes liver wind stirring,heart fire flourishing,spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness,lung adverse,yin deficiency and wind stirring.The dysfunction of the five organs can produce or aggravate the disturbance of wind.“Comprehensive therapy of adjusting organs to relieve spasm with traditional Chinese medicine”regulate the five organs and stop wind to relieve spasm through combination of“oral administration of prescription for adjusting organs to relieve spasm”and“acupoint needle-pot infusion therapy of adjusting organs to relieve spasm”.ZHAN’s Zhijing San(詹氏止痉散)is used as the basis,modified with syndrome differentiation,to reconcile the five organs,stop wind and relieve spasm.One case is attached for verification.
