With the increasing advancement of digital archives management in the new era,it is particularly critical to do a good job in the digital management of public security registered residence archives.In a comprehensive view of the cur rent situation of digital management of publice security registered residence files,although some management achievements have been made,the efficiency and quality of registered residence inguiry still need to be further improved to meet the needs of the masses of the people for digital file management services in the new era if they want to keep pace with the times.This paper discusses the digital management of registered residence files and how to give full play to the achievements of digital management,hoping to provide some reference suggestions for archivists.
