This paper introduces the problem of cylinder pulling of the main diesel(hereinafter referred to as the main engine)of a shipowner during the sea trial inspection. In order to ensure the normal, safe and reliable operation of the diesel engine, the paper analyzes the causes of the problem, puts forward the measures to solve the problem and points for attention in the future.
