基于新视角的高校图书馆引进数据库利用效益提升策略研究

Research on the strategies of improving the utilization efficiency of the imported databases in university libraries from a new perspective

高校图书馆对数据库的评估多集中在收割使用量、计算使用成本、进行用户满意度调查等,而引进数据库往往内容各具特色,所擅长的领域和学科也不尽相同。文章尝试通过利用Web of Science、SCI等工具,以华南理工大学使用某一数据库为例提出一些新的数据库评估视角,为今后更加深入和全面了解引进数据库,从而为更好地管理和促进深度利用引进数据库提供参考。同时,对更好地利用引进数据库提出建议。

The evaluation of university libraries on databases mostly focuses on harvesting usage,calculating usage costs,and conducting user satisfaction surveys.However,the introduction of databases often has different contents,and their fields and disciplines are also different.This paper attempts to put forward some new database evaluation perspectives by using Web of Science,SCI and other tools,taking South China University of Technology’s use of a database as an example,to further and comprehensively understand the introduced database in the future,so as to provide a reference for better management and promotion of in-depth use of the introduced database.At the same time,suggestions are made for better use of the imported database.
