国图藏《魏书》纸背文献所见元代军官承袭程序——兼论元代的怀孟万户府与常州万户府

The Inheritance Procedure of Military Officers in the Yuan Dynasty in Data from the Book of Wei Collected in the National Library of China:With a Discussion of Huaimeng and Changzhou Brigades

国家图书馆藏《魏书》纸背文献载录元代军官历仕文书10件,其展现了至元及大德时期军官的不同承袭流程,而由此进一步发现,元代对于军官承袭的管理,具有前松后紧、军官完成承袭时间长短不一、承袭资格长期有效等特点。同时,该批文书还为认识元代的怀孟万户府、常州万户府达鲁花赤、万户、千户、千户所等职官、机构的设置,提供了珍贵素材。

There are 10 pieces of documents that recorded successive positions of military officers in the Yuan dynasty in data from the Book of Wei collected in the National Library of China, which revealed different inheritance procedures of military officers during the reigns from Zhiyuan to Dade. It can be seen that the control of military offices by the Yuan court had the characteristics such as being slack at the beginning while being tight towards the end, the varying length of time that military officers completing inheritance, and the long-standing inheriting qualifications. Meanwhile, these documents provide precious materials for the knowledge about the official positions and institutional settings such as Overseer(daruhachi), Brigade, Brigade Commanders, Battalion, and Battalion Commanders in Huaimeng and Changzhou.
