Information Technology Should Be Used to Promote the Balanced Development of Rural Education

乡村学校特别是乡村小规模学校是我国教育体系的“神经末梢”。办好乡村学校,既是乡村振兴战略下的重要任务,也是义务教育优质均衡发展的必然要求。

The schools in rural areas, especially the small-scaled schools, can be compared to the “nerve ending” in China’s education system. Running well the rural schools is not merely a key task for implementing the rural revitalization strategy, but also is an essential requirement to help close the gap between rural and urban schools of compulsory education in China, according to Wang Jixin, Executive Director of Collaborative Innovation Center for Balanced Development of Informatization and Elementary Education Co-Founded by Hubei and Ministry of Education.
