An analysis of Su Zhe’ s literary creation as a remonstrative official

苏辙的文学创作鲜明体现了其谏诤理念。苏辙于元祐元年二月至九月,担任右司谏,期间写了百篇诗文,内容关涉治国安民的各个方面,这些谏诤文学的书写,具有强烈的现实观照性。苏辙的“文气论”亦与他的谏官身份及文学书写相表里。谏官品质、文学思想与文学创作相互激荡,形成了苏辙谏诤文学凝练周密、平正通达的格调。

Su Zhe’s literary creation featured significance of his remonstrative concept. During the period from February to September in the first year of Yuanyou, Su Zhe, as a remonstrative official, wrote about a hundred poems, which were related to all aspects in running the country well and giving the people peace and security. Su Zhe’s remonstrative poems and prose have a strong sense of reality. Su Zhe’s “Wenqi theory” is closely related to his status as an advisor and his literary writing. The quality of remonstrative officials, literary thought and literary creation promote each other, forming the style of Su Zhe’s remonstrative literature, which is condensed, thoughtful, and straightforward.
