Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention based on Snyder's hope theory combined with refined diet nursing in patients with esophageal cancer after operation. Methods A total of 200 patients with esophageal cancer after operation in our hospital from April 2018 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group and observation group according to different nursing plans, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given nursing intervention based on Snyder's hope theory combined with refined diet nursing on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the levels of albumin(ALB),transferrin(TRF)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of Mishel's Uncertainty in Illness Scale(MUIS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of Herth hope scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on Snyder's hope theory combined with refined diet nursing can not only ameliorate the nutritional status of patients with esophageal cancer after operation, but also alleviate the uncertainty in illness and improve the hope level.
