少儿国际英语教材发展新动向及对中文教材编写的启示

摘要 文章以2016—2021年出版的培生版英语综合教材为研究对象,发现少儿国际英语教材在教学目标、教学内容等方面呈现出新的趋势,不仅关注学习者英语综合应用能力的提高,还注重促进学习者掌握21世纪的基本技能和素养,以应对未来的职业和生活需求。针对海外汉语学习者呈低龄化发展的趋势,文章就少儿国际中文教材的编写提出以下建议:加快教育理念的更新,重视中文教学与价值观、学术交流能力、思维能力培养的深度融合,引导少儿学习者成长为促进中外交流的国际人才和适应信息时代需求的世界公民。 This article takes the comprehensive English textbooks published by Pearson Education in 2016-2021 as the research objects,and finds the new trends of teaching goals,teaching content and supporting resources in international English teaching materials for children—to help learners not only improve their comprehensive English application ability,but also master the essential skills and literacies of the 21st century to respond to future career and life demands.This article also puts forward suggestions on the compilation of international Chinese teaching materials for children in view of the trend towards younger overseas learners—accelerating the update of the educational concepts,and attaching importance to the deep integration of Chinese language teaching with the cultivation of values,academic communication ability and thinking ability.The purpose is to guide children to grow into international talents who can promote exchanges worldwide,and global citizens who can adapt to the needs of the information age.
