The intestine is responsible for an important barrier function,which can effectively defend against pathogenic bacteria and toxic and harmful substances,and its integrity directly affects the health of the organism.Postbiotics are the new growth point of research in the field of probiotics in recent years,which are inactivated probiotics and their metabolites that can play an effective role in the health of the organism.This paper reviews the relationship between postbiotics and intestinal barrier health and its research progress on the intestinal barrier of the organism to provide some reference for its application in animal husbandry.
