鲍廷博迁居桐乡新证

New Evidence of Bao Tingbo Moving to Tongxiang

清代著名藏书家鲍廷博曾寓居杭州,后迁居桐乡。学界普遍认为鲍氏迁桐的时间为乾隆四十九年(1784年),但根据新见的清嘉庆间初修的《青溪严氏家谱》中鲍氏的序言和嘉道年间宋咸熙所辑《桐溪诗述》中的相关史料可知,鲍廷博在定居桐乡乌镇杨树浜之前,早于乾隆三十一至三十二年(1766—1767年)之间就在桐乡县城西北运河边的冶塘一带暂住。鲍氏在冶塘有绣溪寓舍,并在此藏书、校书。在寓居冶塘期间,以鲍廷博为主的藏书家群体之间形成了良性互动的交际网络,是清代乾嘉时期私家藏书与刻书繁荣风貌的重要剪影。

Bao Tingbo, a famous book collector in the Qing Dynasty, once lived in Hangzhou and later moved to Tongxiang. It is generally believed in the academic circles that Bao moved to Tongxiang in the 49th year of Qianlong’s reign(1784). However, according to the newly discovered preface of Bao in the Qingxi Yan Family Tree, which was first revised in Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, and the relevant historical materials in the Tongxi poetry compiled by Song Xianxi during the period from Jiaqing to Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, it can be seen that before Bao Tingbo settled in Yangshubang, Wuzhen, Tongxiang, As early as the thirty first to thirty second years of Qianlong’s reign(1766-1767), he lived temporarily in Yetang area near the northwest canal of Tongxiang County. Bao has xiuxi apartment in Yetang, where he collects and proofreads books. During the period of living in Yetang, a benign interactive communication network was formed among the book collectors, mainly Bao Tingbo, which was an important silhouette of the prosperity of private collection and engraving during the period from Qianlong to Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty.
