In the past, the theme bond market has achieved remarkable results in supporting the development of the real economy through direct financing support, category innovation and the reduction of financing costs. This article holds that the theme bond market will show a trend of rapid growth in issuances, more diversified financing entities and gradually diversified financing needs, thus starting a new journey of high-quality development. As an important investor in theme bonds, insurance funds are facing potential obstacles. This paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of the domestic theme bond market from the aspects of strengthening tripartite certification and enriching product maturities.
