何以为先生?——湖南一师早期的教师群体及其精神特质

大先生,传道受业解惑者也。清末民初二十余年间,湖南一师海纳百川,不拘一格吸纳人才,使得一批心怀天下、学贯中西、厚德载物的大先生,汇集一师。他们在课堂上谆谆教诲,通过讲学弘道,向青年学生传授知识,进行思想启蒙,厚植其国家观念和家国情怀;在课堂外言传身教,通过身体力行,引导青年亲师向道,把个人理想和服务国家社会相结合,培养了毛泽东、何叔衡、李云杭等一大批国家栋梁和行业精英,“有功于斯世也”。湖南一师早期的大先生教泽绵长,其为学、为师之道,为人、为事之方,对于新时代大先生的养成,具有重要的借鉴意义。
