An Important Document on Upholding and Strengthening the Party’s Comprehensive Leadership:The Version,Theme and Contemporary Significance of Ren Bishi’s Opinions on Several Issues

《关于几个问题的意见》是任弼时1943年1月在西北局高级干部会议上所作的报告。现存的报告文本主要有《两条路线》版本、《任弼时选集》版本以及《建党以来重要文献选编》版本,不同版本之间在文字和内容上存在一些差异。任弼时在报告中针对陕甘宁边区党内存在的统一领导意识不强、官僚主义等一些不正确的思想和倾向提出了加强党的集中统一领导等建议,这些建议对于今天我们坚持和加强党的全面领导,特别是深刻把握“两个确立”,坚决做到“两个维护”,增强党的执政能力、提升党的执政水平具有重要意义。

Opinions on Several Issues is a report given by Ren Bishi at the meeting of senior cadres of the Northwest Bureau in January, 1943. The existing report mainly include three versions: Two Lines, Ren Bishi Anthology and Selected Important Literature Since the Founding of the Party, and there are some differences in text and content between the different versions. In his report, Ren Bishi put forward suggestions on strengthening the party’s centralized and unified leadership in view of some incorrect ideas and tendencies that exist within the party in the ShaanxiGansu-Ningxia Border Region, such as weak sense of unified leadership and bureaucracy.
