Building the Sino-Japanese Relations that Meet the Requirements of the New Era:Features,Issues and Approaches

构建契合新时代要求的中日关系是中日两国领导人达成的重要政治共识。中日关系在经历了长时段的低谷期后于2017年开始缓和,领导人的互访标志着中日关系从“竞争”走向“协调”,并重新回到正轨。自2020年以来,新冠肺炎疫情爆发以及国际形势变化导致中日关系的不确定性增大。本文重点对近十年来中日关系进行回顾,认为中国对日政策具有较好的连续性,而日本的对华政策则表现出嬗变的一面。在此基础上,本文总结影响新时代中日关系构建的主要因素,并结合中日关系的历史与现实,尝试归纳构建契合新时代要求的中日关系的具体路径。

Building the Sino-Japanese relations that meet the requirements of the new era is an important political consensus reached by the leaders of China and Japan.After a long period of slump,Sino-Japanese relations began to ease in 2017.The mutual visits of the leaders brought Sino-Japanese relations from competition to coordination,and"back on a normal track".The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and changes in the international situation have led to uncertainty between China and Japan.This article reviews Sino-Japanese relations over the past decade.China’s policy toward Japan has good continuity,while Japan’s policy toward China shows a degree of evolution.On this basis,this article summarizes the main factors affecting the construction of Sino-Japanese relations in the new era,and combines the history and reality of Sino-Japanese relations to identify the specific path to build Sino-Japanese relations that meet the requirements of the new era.
