With the acceleration of the pace of social level,people’s life level and psychological stress are also increasing,which makes the incidence rate of depression groups show a rising trend in recent years,depression shows high morbidity,high mortality,easy recurrence and other characteristics.It not only causes serious psychological trauma to people,but also affects the quality of life of families and society greatly,and brings heavy economic and development burdens.In the era when people’s cognitive level of depression has been greatly improved,the search for effective treatment methods has gradually become the focus of current research.Today’s traditional medical means provide a reliable and effective way of diagnosis and treatment with characteristics.With the prosperous development of many academic schools over the years,the theory of Fuyang(扶阳)is thriving,and has been continuously promoted to form a complete academic diagnosis and treatment system.The occurrence of depression is closely related to Yang(阳)deficiency,and Yang Qi(阳气)is the root of life activities of the body,which makes the human body have the conditions to stimulate and promote the effect.People are full of energy and vitality when their Yang Qi is full of energy and vitality.Yang Qi maintains the full state of mind of the human body.The clinical syndrome can be treated according to the principle of supporting Yang Qi,paying attention to the function of Yang Qi,and restoring the dominance of Yang Qi.Its treatment theme has been fully verified in clinical diagnosis and treatment effect,with unique advantages and clinical popularization to a certain extent.This article studies the treatment of depression with Yang deficiency from the perspectives of its theoretical origin,clinical treatment,and mechanism of action,and illustrates the feasibility of TCM treatment of depression with Yang deficiency as a starting point.
