陌生化翻译理论视角下路遥作品《人生》的英译策略研究

Study on English Translation Strategies of Lu Yao′s Life from the Perspective of Defamiliarization Translation Theory

中篇小说《人生》是路遥的代表作之一。这部作品以改革时期陕北黄土高原的城乡生活为时空背景,描绘了陕北农民的日常生活、地域民俗、特色方言等,具有鲜明的“陕北”地域特色。以《人生》英译本为例,从语音、词汇及文化三个层面讨论译者在《人生》中运用的陌生化翻译策略,以期研究成果能为其他文学作品英译提供参考依据,对陕西地方特色文化的推广与传播起到积极作用。

Being one of Lu Yao′s representative works,the novel Life takes urban and rural life of the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi during the reform as the story background in time and space.It depicts daily life of farmers,regional folk customs,and characteristic dialects with distinct regional characteristics.This paper discusses the translator′s application of Defamiliarization translation strategies in the English translated version Life from three aspects:phonetics,vocabulary and culture.It is hoped that the research could provide a reference for other literary translation and could contribute to the promotion and dissemination of Shaanxi local characteristic culture.
