摘要 大规模储能技术是解决新能源利用过程中非稳态问题的关键技术。全钒液流电池是极具前景的大规模储能技术之一,然而受钒价格影响,其成本较高,制约了该技术进一步发展。铁化合物是液流电池的理想活性物质,且铁储量丰富、价格低廉,有助于降低液流电池的成本。基于现有铁基液流电池的研究工作,综述了不同类型铁基液流电池的优势和特点,总结了各类铁基液流电池面临的关键问题及研究进展,重点介绍了铁基液流电池的应用情况,并对其未来发展方向进行了展望。 Large scale energy storage is a key technology to solve the non-steady state problem of renewable energy. All vanadium redox flow battery is one of the promising large scale energy storage technologies. However, the high cost restricts its further development which is mainly influenced by the price of vanadium. Iron compounds are ideal active materials for flow batteries because of its abundant reserves and low price. In this work, based on the existing research about iron based flow batteries, we review the advantages and characteristics of different types of iron based flow batteries, and summarizes the key issues and research progress of various types of iron based flow batteries. We introduce the application situation of iron based flow battery, and prospect its future development direction.
