The design scheme of brushless doubly fed machine and the key technologies applied were described in detail. After summarizing and analyzing the current control strategy of brushless doubly fed machine, a new control strategy was proposed, which laied a foundation for the design and control of brushless doubly fed machine electrical drive system. The practical application of the brushless doubly fed machine system was evaluated, which provided a theoretical basis for its wide promotion and use in the future.
