摘要
自闭症谱系障碍(ASD)是一种严重的神经发育障碍类疾病,病因知之甚少。大量研究表明活性氧的增加导致ASD的发生。NADPH氧化酶是主要的活性氧生成酶之一。在ASD中,NADPH氧化酶由来的活性氧在社会沟通、社交互动和重复行为的损害中起到重要作用。近年来的研究指出,与NADPH氧化酶相关的炎症、神经功能障碍以及线粒体功能紊乱可诱导ASD的临床病症。本文就NADPH氧化酶在ASD中的作用进行综述,以期为治疗和进一步研究提供理论基础和分子机理以供参考。
Autism spectrum disorder is a severe neurodevelopmental disorder with a poorly understood etiology.Many studies suggest increased reactive oxygen species in ASD that may contribute to the development of this disease.NADPH oxidase is one of the major reactive oxygen species-producing enzymes.The reactive oxygen species derived from NADPH oxidase plays an essential role in the impairment of social communication,social interaction,and repetitive patterns of behaviour in ASD.Several studies propose a mechanism linking NADPH oxidase with inflammation,neuronal dysfunction,and mitochondrial dysfunction,leading to clinical symptoms of ASD.This review summarizes the role of NADPH oxidase in ASD,providing a theoretical basis and molecular mechanism for treatment as well as further studies.
