Expert consensus on human embryo morphological assessment:cleavage-stage embryos and blastocysts grading criteria

目前,胚胎形态学评价方法仍是辅助生殖实验室评估胚胎质量的主要手段。然而,由于评价标准细节尚未达成共识且缺乏精准的量化评级指标,现已严重限制了各生殖医学中心间的标准化室间质评与控制管理,更制约了对全国范围内大规模胚胎评级数据的深度挖掘和广泛应用。为进一步完善辅助生殖实验室质量管理体系,提升辅助生殖技术的服务质量,由中国医师协会生殖医学专业委员会发起,并联合全国多家生殖医学中心共同编撰了本共识。

Up to now,morphological assessment of embryos is still the main method to screen embryos with the most potential for implantation in in vitro fertilization(IVF)laboratories.However,due to the lack of a unified consensus and quantitative indicators,the subjective differences among laboratories limit the comparison of inter-laboratory quality among reproductive medicine centers,and it restricts the in-depth analysis and wide application of massive embryo data nationwide.In order to refine the quality system of IVF laboratories and improve the service of assisted reproductive technology,this consensus is initiated by the Chinese Association of Reproductive Medicine,and co-edited with other reproductive medicine centers.
