Research on Deng Xiaoping’s Studies in the Soviet Union

第一次国共合作开始后,中共面临缺乏成熟干部的问题。在此背景下,1926年1月,党组织派邓小平等人由法国赴苏联学习。为了“改造国民党人”,邓小平到莫斯科后不久即由东方大学转入中山大学。在莫斯科期间,邓小平努力学习,积极投身党团工作,务实对待中共学员之间的分歧,妥善处理与国民党学员的关系。经过一年的学习,他的理论水平、党务工作和革命斗争能力均得到很大提升。1927年初,根据国内革命的需要,邓小平提前结束学习,奉调回国。

At the beginning of the First KMT-CPC United Front,the CPC faced the problem of a lack of experienced cadres.Against this background,in January 1926 the CPC organized a group of people,including Deng Xiaoping,to go from France to the Soviet Union for further study.To remold the minds of the KMT members,shortly after his arrival in Moscow,Deng Xiaoping was transferred from University of the Toilers of the East to Sun Yatsen University.During his stay in Moscow,Deng Xiaoping studied hard,actively managed CPC and CYLC affairs,and dealt pragmatically with the differences among the CPC students and properly managed their relationship with the KMT students.After a year of study,his theoretical level and his ability to deal with Party affairs and the revolutionary struggle had greatly improved.In early 1927,based on the needs of the domestic revolution,Deng Xiaoping completed his studies ahead of time and was ordered to return home.
