摘要
基于学习者个体动机差异性,采用问卷调查法和访谈法,对非英语专业大学生的词汇习得动机调控策略进行实证研究,描述性统计分析结果显示:学生使用动机调控策略的频率达中等以上水平;独立样本T检验结果显示:女生在策略使用上优于男生,一年级学生优于二年级学生,文科生和理科生不存在显著性差异;皮尔逊相关分析结果显示:词汇量水平高的学生,其动机调控能力与词汇成绩显著正相关;单因素方差分析结果显示:词汇水平高的学生比词汇水平中等或较差的学生更擅长运用词汇习得动机调控策略,但词汇量水平中等和较差学生之间,则无显著性差异。基于实证分析和样本访谈,本文提出针对不同类型学生的动机激发与培养策略。
Based on individuals’ differences in learning motivation,the study aims to analyze self-regulation ability in second language vocabulary acquisition of non-English majors by combining quantitative and qualitative methods.The descriptive statistical analysis shows that the subjects’ frequency of using strategies in motivation regulation is above medium level.The independent sample Ttest results show that female students and freshmen are better than male students and sophomores in strategy use respectively,but there is no significant difference between arts students and science students.The results of Pearson correlation analysis show that motivation regulation ability and vocabulary performance are significantly positively correlated among the subjects whose vocabulary level is high.The result of One Way ANOVA shows that students with higher level of vocabulary are better at using the strategies of motivation regulation than those with medium or lower level of vocabulary.However,there is no significant difference between the subjects with medium and poorer vocabulary.Based on the analysis,this study puts forward some motivation stimulation and training strategies for different types of students.
