Adapt to Changing Times to Achieve Leapfrog Development: a Brief Introduction of the Development of International Exchanges of Education in Guizhou

教育国际交流是贵州教育发展的重要内容之一。中华人民共和国成立后,特别是改革开放以来,在党和政府的高度重视下,贵州教育国际交流得到快速发展、不断突破,党的十八大以来更是呈现出繁花绽放之势。贵州通过留学、合作办学和交流互动等多种形式,不断推进教育国际交流工作,搭建了多渠道、全方位的教育国际交流平台,促进了贵州教育事业的现代化发展。特别值得一提的是,自2008年以来国家连续在贵州举办的十五届“中国—东盟教育交流周”,已成为贵州教育国际交流的知名品牌,为全面推进新时代中国特色大国外交、构建人类命运共同体发挥了积极作用。

International exchange on education is one of the important contents of education development in Guizhou.Rapid development and constant breakthroughs have been made in international exchange on education in Guizhou after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,especially after the reform and opening up when the Party and the government highly value this work,and it blooms even more since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.International exchanges on education in Guizhou,including overseas study,cooperation in running schools,and man-to-man exchanges,have promoted international exchanges on education.A multi-channel and all-round platform for international education exchanges has been built,which has promoted the modernization of education in Guizhou.It is notable that since 2008,China has held 15 consecutive“China-ASEAN Educational Exchange Week”in Guizhou,making it representative in the international exchanges on education in Guizhou,which has played a positive role in comprehensively promoting major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
