As an important area for carbon emissions,mining areas are also key governance areas for achieving the"Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality"goal.The potential tapping and path analysis of emission reduction and sink increase are of great strategic significance.Focusing on the realization of the"Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality"goal,this paper analyzes the urgency of emission reduction and sink increase in mining areas,the research progress at home and abroad and the existing problems,and puts forward the improvement path of sink increase and emission reduction in mining areas at this stage,so as to promote the mining area to gradually enter the path of green,low-carbon and sustainable development.
