毫米波光载射频传输性能分析与优化设计

摘要 毫米波具有带宽大、波束窄等优点,在雷达、成像等领域具有重要的应用。光载射频传输是解决毫米波信号远距离传输问题的重要途径,其性能参数对传输质量有决定性影响。文中对电光变换和光载射频传输整体链路进行数学建模,给出了链路增益、1 dB压缩点、噪底、噪声系数、动态范围等性能指标计算公式,并给出了光载射频传输链路工程设计的参数优化和级联链路优化方法。经上述优化过程,可使设计的光载射频链路达到最优性能。 With the advantage of large bandwidth and narrow beam, millimeter wave(mm-wave) radio has many important applications in radar and imaging fields. Radio over fiber(ROF) is a significant solution for remote transmission of mm-wave. The parameters of ROF have a decisive effect on the quality of mm-wave transmission. The mathematical modeling of electro-optic conversion and ROF link is carried out, and the calculation formulas of the performance indexes such as link gain, 1 dB compression point, noise floor, noise figure and dynamic range are given. More than that, the parameter optimization and cascade link optimization methods of ROF for engineering application are proposed. Through above optimization process, the designed optical ROF link can achieve the optimal performance.
