In the reconnaissance in the Song dynasty,all of those inquisition and judicial sensor methods had been commonly applied,which not only did approaches of postmortem examination consisit,but also investigation method of the inquisition of the scene of crime,reconnaissance experiment,physical examina-tion as well as physical evidence inspection.By the means of classification of detective science,the ancient judicial detection belongs to a part of inquisition and judicial sensor system,and was the core content of in-quisition and judicial sensor activities.The peculiar political and economic environment and the austere and complex security situation in Song Dynasty had promoted the perfection of inquisition and judicial sensor system,the progress of inquisition and judicial sensor procedures and the maturity of inquisition and judicial sensor technology.From the perspective of historical achievements,the inquisition and judicial sensor system in the Song Dynasty had written a brilliant chapter in the history of Chinese law with its systematization of rules,the programmability of the run,and the advancement of technology.
