培养高中生文化意识的英语阅读教学探究

摘要 培养文化意识为新课改背景下英语教学的重要任务,但传统教学中文化意识培养依然存在如学习方式被动、情境不真实、内容浅层片面、中华传统文化及跨文化比较缺失等问题。针对此现状,本文以译林版《高中英语》选择性必修一Understanding Culture Through Music阅读教学为例,从文化氛围浸润、文化知识激活、文化内容理解、文化内涵探究和文化素养内化等方面阐述培养高中生文化意识的阅读教学实施。实践表明,这些包含学习理解、应用实践及迁移创新三个层次的活动设计有益于学生发展文化意识、提升学习主动性。据实践启发,教师应灵活运用多模态资源、优化英语教学文化氛围,加强活动真实性与多元性、丰富文化意识教学内容,引导学生感知文化异同、汲取传播中华文化精华。 The cultivation of cultural awareness is a critical task in English teaching under the background of the new curriculum reform.However,there are still some problems in cultivating cultural awareness in traditional teaching,such as passive learning mode,inauthentic context,superficial and onesided content,and insufficient Chinese traditional culture and cross-cultural comparison.In view of this situation,taking the Reading text“Understanding Culture Through Music”in Book 4 of Oxford Yilin Edition as an example,the study expounds the implementation of reading teaching that cultivates high school students'cultural awareness from the following aspects:cultural atmosphere infiltration,cultural knowledge activation,cultural content understanding,cultural connotation exploration and cultural literacy internalization.The teaching practice shows that these learning activities concerning understanding,application and innovation are beneficial to developing their cultural awareness and earning initiative.Meanwhile,this study puts forward teachers should flexibly use multi-modal resources,optimize the cultural atmosphere,strengthen the authenticity and diversity of activities,enrich the teaching content of cultural awareness,and guide students to perceive cultural differences and similarities as well as spread the essence of Chinese culture.
