胡献雅文化人格的形成来自儒家文化、赣鄱地域文化和科学精神。其文化人格随着个人经历和时代变迁而不断发展变化,后来受民间文化熏陶,最终形成自由独立的人格特征。在他人生的每一阶段,其绘画风格随文化人格的发展而变化,冲淡简约与雄奇豪放两种风格并存。

The formation of Hu Xianya’s cultural personality is a result of the combination of Confucian Culture,Jiangxi regional culture and scientific spirit.Experienced ups and downs,his life,almost spanning every stage of Chinese history in 20th century,is an epitome of herd destiny of Chinese intellectuals.Such a personality constantly changes with fate fluctuation and the time,then,exposed to folk culture,and finally formed his personal features of freedom and independence.His painting style,at each stage,changed along with the development of his cultural personality.Two styles—relaxed simplicity and bold unconstraint—coexist in his works.
