A new path to highly conducting n-dopedπ-conjugated polymers

In an article recently published in Nature[1],Fei Huang,Yong Cao,and their co-workers report on aπ-conjugated polymer,poly(benzodifurandione),PBFDO,prepared by an oxidative polymerization and whose continuous backbone corresponds to poly(para-phenylene vinylene).
