Analysis of the Export Competitiveness of China’s Furniture Industry with the RCEP

我国家具行业出口占据国际市场的重要地位,近年来家具业出口额逐年增加,并呈现良好的发展态势。在当今经济大环境下,RCEP的签订与实施不仅意味着更加开放的贸易水平,还意味着更加激烈的国际贸易竞争格局,这将会给我国家具行业的出口贸易带来新的发展机遇与挑战。本文通过计算我国家具行业出口的显示性比较优势指数和贸易竞争优势指数分析家具业目前的国际贸易竞争力,结合RCEP大背景,进一步讨论我国家具行业应如何抓住机遇、迎接挑战,在国际市场中提高自身竞争优势,并为我国家具行业的未来发展提出相应发展建议。

China’s furniture industry exports play an important role in the international markets.In recent years,the furniture industry exports have increased year by year,showing a good development trend.In the current economic landscape,the signing and implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)not only means a more open level of trade but also means a more intense competition pattern of international trade,which will bring new development opportunities and challenges to the export trade of China’s furniture industry.This paper analyzes the current international trade competitiveness of the furniture industry by calculating the revealed comparative advantage index and the trade competitive index of China’s furniture industry exports,further discusses how China’s furniture industry should seize the opportunities and meet the challenges to improve its competitive advantages in the international markets with the RCEP,and puts forward corresponding development suggestions for the future development of China’s furniture industry.
