The Strategy for Training Excellent Police Talents in Public Security Colleges and Universities under the Concept of FosteringVirtue through Education

公安院校要全面落实立德树人根本任务,锻造对党忠诚、服务人民、执法公正、纪律严明的公安铁军,在强调思想政治教育和专业教育的同时,还必须加强人文素质教育,促进学生全面发展。为此,公安院校可从四个方面入手,即转变教育教学理念、提升教师人文素养、做到“三个融合”、用好“四个平台”,切实提升学生人文素养,使其软硬实力兼备,从而更好地适应新时代对公安工作的新要求。

Public security colleges and universities should fully implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education,and forge an iron army that is loyal to the Party,serving the people,enforcing the law fairly and having strict discipline.Therefore,the humanistic quality education should be strengthened as well as the ideological and political education and professional education.To this end,public security colleges and universities can start the following four aspects,namely,to transform the education and teaching idea,improve teachers’cultural literacy,achieve the“three integration”,and use the“four platform”,to form the coordination effect,effectively promote students’humanities accomplishment,so as to better adapt to the new requirements of public security work in the new era.
