China’s total goods imports and exports surged 7.7 percent year on year to 42.07 trillion yuan($6.26 trillion)in 2022,hitting a new record,official data showed on 14 January.Exports jumped 10.5 percent from a year earlier to 23.97 trillion yuan($3.57 trillion)while imports climbed 4.3 percent on a yearly basis to 18.1 trillion yuan($2.69 trillion),the General Administration of Customs(GAC)said.
