鬼脸天蛾不同虫态鉴别特征及寄主范围研究

Study on Identification Characteristics of Different Developmental Stages and Host Range in Acherontia lachesis

以分布于亚洲、大洋洲和美洲的一种大型蛾类鬼脸天蛾Acherontia lachesis为研究对象,通过室内饲养观察法,结合文献资料,对其所有虫态的形态特征及寄主范围进行了系统研究。结果表明鬼脸天蛾的幼虫可取食约20科70余种植物;老熟幼虫具有多种色型现象,可分为绿色型、黄色型、褐色型以及中间色型。文章对鬼脸天蛾卵、不同龄期与色型的幼虫、蛹及成虫进行了描述且提供图版。

Acherontia lachesis is a large moth distributed in Asia, Oceania, and America. Morphological characteristics of all developmental stages and host range of this species are systematically studied using the methods of indoor feeding observation with the combination of related references. The results show that the larvae of A. lachesis can feed on over 70 species in 20 families of hostplant species;The final instar larvae have bodycolor polymorphisms, which includes green, yellow, brown, and intermedius color types. In this paper, the eggs,larvae of different instars and color types, pupae and adults of A. lachesis are described and illustrated, which provide the scientific basis for accurate identification and comprehensive prevention and control of this species.
